The Grateful Tea Info-Gram #1

The Grateful Tea Info-Gram #1

For ages, people have been using tea for medicinal reasons, as well as cultural! Luckily for us, this tea is not only healthy, but tea-licious as well. We’ll be introducing an An-tea-oxidant sampler this month, and we’re going to explore all of the health benefits they have. You won’t be able to leaf it alone! Tea-tox is loaded with great ingredients, and has Burdock, Milk Thistle, Green Rooibos, Cinnamon, Lemon Balm, Dandelion Root and Peppermint leaves. We’ll be covering all of these excellent ingredients in a three-part newsletter Let’s get to it!

The Burdock plant is actually in the same plant family as Sunflowers and Daisies, but its main medicinal properties are in their roots. Burdock root has diuretic properties, which is a really excellent detoxin by helping to stimulate your kidneys, in addition to helping expel excess water which helps with bloating. It also has inulin, which is a type of fiber that really promotes gut health, and antioxidants which can help with inflammation. This really is a power root!

Milk Thistle is another highly sought after medicinal plant! For centuries, this plant has been used to help liver health, and gallbladder health. Its antioxidant properties help with liver inflammation (and inflammation in general), and have also been shown to work well in insulin to help reduce blood sugar levels, so can be especially helpful for diabetics or prediabetics, though generally it would help most anyone.

Stay tuned for the next newsletter to find out the benefit of the rest of the ingredients!
